Malawi is a landlocked country located in south-east Africa. It is bound by Mozambique to the south-west and south-east, Lake Nyasa (Malawi) to the east, Tanzania to the north and Zambia to the west. Malawi is one of the world's least developed countries in the world, with about 90% of the population living in rural areas highly dependent on agriculture for its livelihood.
